Why CBD+

Our Full Spectrum Oil contains many different Cannabinoids. While CBD is well known right now, new Cannabinoids are being researched all the time. Soon we will be looking for other Cannabinoids to do more specific things, similar to CBD. Our products have CBD, CBG, CBN and CBC among MANY other Cannabinoids.

What are the most important factors to consider when buying CBD oil?

When buying CBD oil, it’s important to focus on the quality of the CBD oil above all else. Where is the hemp sourced? Is it organic and natural? Does the company provide lab-verified test results for each batch it sells? From there, it’s about finding the right product type for your needs. Not all CBD oil is the same.

All of our Hemp is locally sourced, grown using organic methods. I have personally helped in the fields with planting and harvesting. I know my farmers and my processor very well. I am often seen onsite checking on progress.

Can I get high on CBD?

No.

What’s the most effective way to take CBD oil?

CBD can be taken many ways.  We recommend CBD oil be taken sublingually, holding the dose under the tongue for at least 45 to 60 seconds before swallowing for maximum impact.

Will CBD help my condition?

Due to federal regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not natural CBD hemp oil can help with specific ailments. Please see our testimonials, and ask your friends that are taking it.

Is CBD oil legal?

The United States Farm Bill of 2018 legalized Industrial Hemp. CBD containing less than 0.3% of THC is legal in all 50 states. Many states are also passing their own legislation to legalize hemp and CBD products further.

Do you need a prescription to buy CBD oil?

No.

What is the difference between isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum CBD?

There are many types of CBD oil on the market, including full spectrum CBD oil, broad spectrum CBD oil, and CBD isolate.

Full spectrum CBD oil contains less than 0.3% THC and includes most hemp-derived cannabinoids. This allows for the entourage effect and for your body to get the most from our CBD oil.

Broad spectrum CBD oil is essentially full spectrum, except it’s refined further to remove as much of the THC as possible from the final product. The THC is chemically or thermally removed which degrades the product.

CBD isolate removes all compounds, including THC, from a full spectrum oil so that it’s 99% pure CBD.

When it comes to CBD isolate vs. full spectrum CBD oil, full spectrum is the more effective product.

What is the entourage effect?

The most beneficial way the body takes advantage of CBD is through the entourage effect. By taking a full spectrum CBD that contains a wide range of phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and other natural chemicals, you’re getting more from the product than taking something that only contains a single cannabinoid compound. This is the entourage effect in action. What’s the difference between CBD from hemp and CBD from marijuana? Both hemp and marijuana are from the same genus and species (cannabis sativa). The characteristic of having low THC is the single difference that most rely on to distinguish industrial hemp from marijuana. CBD taken from hemp and marijuana is the exact same compound.

How much CBD should I take and how often?

One of the biggest issues I have seen in my years of helping people with CBD is watching people take 3 drops twice and then decide it doesn’t work. We recommend starting with a higher initial dose schedule, and scaling back from there. Begin by taking 1 full dropper, twice a day, for 4 days. Then cut back to taking ½ dropper twice a day for 4 days. From that point, continue to cut back daily, until you are taking the least amount possible to get the desired effect you are looking for.

Will SPECTRA Craft CBD+ oil cause me to fail a drug test?

Our full spectrum CBD oil, contains less than 0.3% THC, as mandated by U.S. law. Depending on the test, there is a chance to fail a drug test using our CBD oil. Drug tests vary. They are not uniform. Some are more sensitive than others, which means you could test positive for THC using full spectrum CBD oil. We can’t guarantee that you will pass or fail a drug test.  We leave it up to our customers to know the specific laws surrounding hemp and CBD for their locality.

Can my dog, cat, or other pets take your CBD oil?

Animals also have Endocannibinoid systems! We offer our full spectrum CBD oil for pets, too. CBD oil works for dogs, cats, and other animals, too. It’s actually the same oil, you just use smaller doses!  Check with your veterinarian for best results.

Where does your Hemp come from?

All of our Hemp is grown in local farms, in either MA or CT.
