My story starts differently than most…

I am not a family farm, although I WISH I were… I PLAN to be.

But alas, I am not there yet!

In 2014, I decided I wanted to legally grow Marijuana. (Wait! Can I even SAY this?!?!) Off I went to a local facility that specialized in getting people Medical Marijuana patient cards. During my appointment, the doctor asked me if I was familiar with CBD. At that time I was not. “Well, you should look into it…”  Look into I did! I researched and about a year later, I decided to give it a try. 

My research paid off! It started with Otto 2 from Baystate seeds, then moved on to Royal Queen seeds Critical Medic. Finally I found a strain called Critical Mass, supposedly a 1:1 THC: CBD ratio. Well, through third party testing, we found that it was 16%CBD, 8%THC, 2:1!  This strain was the most well-received strain I have ever grown. Many people asked for it by name. The ‘Older Crowd’ loved it! They would smoke it in the am, to oil up their joints….(pun intended). More importantly, I started to help people kick opiates with it.

Being well known in a small town, people started coming to me for advice. I helped a local Hemp farm plant, harvest, process and develop their product line. I started having investors approach me for business plans. At this point the realization struck, I don’t need anyone else to make my dreams come true, I just need to DO It!

This is my journey with this wonderful plant. I believe in sustainable, organic practices and get to know the farmers that grow the hemp.
